How to Book This Breeding
Contact the stud owner directly using the information on this page. Before scheduling, confirm the stud's brucellosis test is current (within 30 days of the planned breeding date) and request copies of health testing documentation and registration papers. This stud is available for local natural service in Owosso, Michigan. Schedule a visit timed to your dam's progesterone levels for the best conception rates.
What to Confirm Before Breeding
Always use a signed stud dog contract before proceeding. A written agreement should cover the stud fee amount and payment schedule, the return-heat policy if your dam misses (most reputable studs offer a free return service), AKC or UKC paperwork responsibilities, and any pick-of-litter arrangements. Getting these terms in writing protects both parties.
About Shih Tzu Stud Services
A quality Shih Tzu should have health records appropriate for the breed — such as OFA hip and elbow evaluations, breed-specific genetic panel results from a certified lab like Embark or Paw Print Genetics, and current brucellosis testing. Ask the breeder for documentation and verify health results and registration details directly with the relevant organizations; listing information does not guarantee breeding or litter eligibility.
